bunga manggar...

its already October... 3 months being a fiance' to Mr Hadry.... LUV U... huhu... :p By now, brides to be should already have check list to be done for monthly and weekly. i have no idea where to start. Fitrina, my mom best friend was super excited to do bunga manggar for her brother who getting married on Mac next year. She gives an idea... why not she help me with bunga manggar since my wedding is on January and during her brother's wedding, he will borrow the bunga manggar from me... hmmm... thats brilliant!!! so, lets start now!

As everyone familiar, bunga maggar normally look like this. And it can easily find in market. This time, i want to do something a bit different. i'm gonna use fabric flower that can be found in flower or wedding shop (in Nilai 3, there's only 1 shop selling this which i forgot its name).

Fitrina helps in joining the fabric flower petals to the wire that we had cut it into small length about 2 inches long and the end of the wire need to be curved up so it can easily be glued to the fabric flowers.

fabric flower after been curved up. now, its look like a small morning glory flower.

Next step, take thicker wire and taped this small flower to it (use white transparent flower tape). Start from the edge of the wire. Repeat the same process for other flowers along the thicker wire. How many flowers to be taped to the longer wire is depends on u. i think the best is 13-15 flowers in a length with about 1.5" gap. It wouldn't be too heavy.

finally, it will looks like this...

I'd wraped this bunga manggar with papers to keep it from dust and spoilt coz its quite fragile. Now its too early to arrange the flower. Normally, people will do the bunga manggar arrangement a night or a day before the wedding day. Here, Fitrina, Baizura and others making the bunga manggar arrangement.

In progress....

Normally people bring along the bunga manggar besides the bride and the groom when they walk into the hall but since my wedding got decorative gateway, i suggest... we just put the bunga mangga besides the doorway where the main entrance was...
